View from the top of Pu'u Ola'i (aka. Red Hill)
Makena, Maui

Pu'u Ola'i is the large, prominent hill between "Little Beach" and "Big Beach" in Makena.

To the North you can see the West Maui Mountains, Kihei, and Wailea. As you turn to the right you see the Maui Prince Hotel, Wailea and Makena golf courses, and a grand view of the slopes of Haleakala.

As you continue to turn to the right you begin looking South and catch a glimpse of "Big Beach" and beyond to Keone'o'io (La Perouse).

Continue turning and soon Kaho'olawe and Molokini come into view.
